To display excise gate pass register give Menu Command Excise Gate Pass Register
. Excise gate pass register will be displayed with the information regarding Customer Name, EGP Date, Order No., Ass. Value, Excise, Excise Account, VAT, C VAT, Freight, Insurance and Total. By default the excise gate pass register is displayed for last one month. This period is displayed in the frame marked period. You can change this period.
Press the appropriate option button if you want to list excise gate pass entries selected as per the criterion listed in patterns for listing. If you want to list all excise gate pass entries press the option button List All
Any period can be selected for displaying excise gate pass register entries of that period. To select period press option button Excise Gate Pass Date
. Enter the two dates in the text boxes which will be displayed, to get help for entering period refer Period Selection. All excise gate pass entries for that period will be displayed in the list.
To see excise gate pass entries pertaining to one particular customer press option button Customer Name
. Enter the name of the customer in the text box which will be displayed. To find the customer from the list press Find
command button. List of customers will be displayed. Bring focus to the desired customer name or click the name and then press OK
on the customer list. Customer name will appear in the frame marked Give Customer Name. Press OK
here once again. Now only the excise gate pass entries belonging to that customer in the selected period will be displayed.
If you want to print or edit any excise gate pass then first bring that particular excise gate pass to focus in the grid by using tab and arrow keys or click it with the mouse in the grid. Once the excise gate pass is in focus then press command button Edit
. That excise gate pass will be opened for edit. Edit / Print the excise gate pass like you edit any other excise gate pass. When you close the Edit window you will return to excise gate pass register. Any changes which you made in the excise gate pass will not be reflected in the excise gate pass register until you prepare the excise gate pass register again by pressing the appropriate option button.

are two distinct versions of the software, VAT Version or GST Version,
that you have to select at the time of the download of the software.
VAT (Value Added
Tax) is effective in more than 125 countries now other than India. VAT was
made effective in India in 2008 complying with International Accounting
Conventions adapted by 140 or more countries regarding taxation for trade
and services.
GST has been Effetive in India in place of VAT. Under GST, the majority of dealers will need to adopt two-, four-, or eight-digit HSN codes for their commodities, depending on their turnover the year prior.
Dealers with turnover of less than Rupees 1.5 crores WILL NOT BE required to adopt HSN codes for their commodities.
Dealers with turnover between Rupees 1.5 crores and Rupees 5 crores shall be required to use
two (2) digit HSN codes for their commodities.
Dealers with turnover equal to Rupees 5 crores and above shall be required to use
four (4) digit HSN codes for their commodities.
In the case of imports/exports, HSN codes of eight (8) digits shall be compulsory, as GST has to be compatible with international standards and practices.
